Be sure to drain your hoses completely before storing them in a heated garage or basement

Let any water drain completely
It may take a few seconds to drain completely
Step 3
Be sure the water has stopped
After a few seconds the water should stop coming out of the lawn faucet. If it doesn’t stop totally, the faucet may require repair. Even a small amount of water can cause the faucet to freeze
